The AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Course is designed to provide healthcare professionals the ability to recognize many life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR for Adult, Child, and Infant, use an AED, and relieve choking. This course is intended for both certified or noncertified, licensed or nonlicensed healthcare professionals. The course can also be modified to meet workplace requirements.
 
The AHA Heartsaver First Aid Course includes first aid skills and information required by OSHA.  It teaches the skills to effectively assess and maintain life in the critical minutes immediately after an emergency, until the arrival of emergency services.  It provides a complete health and safety training solution for first aid. 

 

Audience: Individuals working in healthcare such as physicians, nurses, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists, occupational and physical therapists, physician's assistants, residents, medical or nursing students, medical or nursing assistants, and other allied health personnel.

The AHA Heartsaver CPR AED Course is intended to teach non-healthcare workers when to phone 911, CPR for Adult, Child and Infant, how to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and how to assist someone who is choking. The course is for individuals who need to obtain a credentialed course certification card. The course can also be modified to meet workplace requirements.

 

Audience: Teachers, Security Staff, Fitness Employees, Job Mandated Requirements, Parents, Lifeguards, Airline Personnel, Corporate Employees and others who need or want to learn CPR and how to operate an AED.

The AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course is a modular course, and includes first aid skills and information required by OSHA.  It teaches the skills to effectively assess and maintain life in the critical minutes immediately after an emergency, until the arrival of emergency services.  It provides a complete health and safety training solution for first aid, adult CPR, and AED. 

 

Audience: Persons that are assigned to respond to emergencies in the workplace or community and those who want to learn first aid, CPR and AED skills. Many individuals are required to take this course as part of their employer’s efforts to comply with OSHA regulations, e.g., corporate employees, security guards, airline personnel, lifeguards and other individuals who want or need first aid training.
 
 
 
The AHA Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Course is a modular course, and includes first aid skills and information required by OSHA.  It teaches the skills to effectively assess and maintain life in the critical minutes immediately after an emergency, until the arrival of emergency services.  It provides a complete health and safety training solution for first aid, infant / child CPR, and AED.
